Theatre Composition Workshop With Chris Harder & Val Landrum
August 22, 2010 through August 23, 2010
When: 6pm – 9pm
Where: CoHo Theatre - 2257 NW Raleigh St. Portland, OR
Who: For actors and artists of all types and experience levels.
Cost: $75
Day 1 – Explore the concepts of Viewpoints.
· Build ensemble skills working in large groups.
· Heighten your awareness of time and space.
· Improve your ability to trust your instincts in the moment.
· Develop tools for physical improvisation.
Day 2 - Collaborate in small groups to create short theatrical compositions.
· Stretch your imagination and possibility for telling stories.
· Dive into your creative well and build on individual talents.
· Experience the rush of creating under exquisite pressure.
· Perform several short theatrical compositions for the class.
This workshop is a lot of fun and jam-packed with concepts that will bend your mind and stretch your inner artist. We’ll send you away with big fat tool belt for your next artistic project.
